Let's get you feeling better, together.
I am a licensed Marriage & Family therapist who specializes in relationships. I use a client-centered approach to work with you to determine the best path forward for lasting healing and growth.
I'm level-3 trained in The Gottman Method for Couples Therapy, and draw from Internal Family Systems theory and Narrative principles in my work. I believe that relationships hold extraordinary power in our lives, and I'll work with you to harness that power and transform it into strength and resilience.
I work with couples experiencing a variety of major life changes, like getting married, welcoming and raising children, or moving in together, and help guide these couples through these beautiful (and challenging!) transitions in a way that can foster lasting closeness and connection. I also have extensive experience working with couples stuck in "the roommate phase," lacking intimacy, struggling with conflict, or recovering from affairs.
In my work with individuals, I am passionate about helping my clients reduce their symptoms of anxiety and depression and improve their trust in and compassion for themselves. I recognize that our longest and most constant relationship in life is with our own self, and I believe that this is the foundation for all of our other relationships.
I work with both couples and individuals to build stronger, more satisfying relationships, and to improve the mental health and quality of life of my clients. During our initial sessions, we'll spend time together exploring the issues that have brought you to therapy and collaboratively create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you feel empowered.
I am pleased to offer an income-based sliding scale fee upon request.
